EPDM sponge tube is divided into closed cell and open cell foam.

The closed-cell foamed EPDM sponge tube material is separated by a wall membrane between the internal cells and the cells, which are not connected to each other, and have an independent cell structure. The internal cells of the open-cell EPDM sponge foam tube material are connected with each other and with the outer skin, which is a non-independent cell structure, mainly larger cells or coarse cells.
